π° Nut MilksPecan Milk
The pecan is the only major tree nut native to North America β its name is borrowed from an Algonquian word for nuts that need a stone to crack. It flourishes along the river bottoms of the American South, and Texas claims the pecan as its state tree, so it's fitting that pecan milk is largely a Texan story. Young brands such as PKN and Pecana, alongside MALK's maple-sweetened pecan blend, have turned the pie nut into a proper luxury pour: buttery and toasty with soft caramel undertones. It's gorgeous in coffee and chai, stirred through porridge, and in autumn baking, where it makes French toast, pancakes and pie fillings taste far posher than they are.
