I stopped drinking dairy after it was pointed out to me that humans are the only species who consume the milk of another species. Curious, I researched this further and couldn't find any health or moral reason to continue consuming dairy.
I had been conditioned throughout my youth to believe that milk was a health food and the evidence suggests completely the opposite.
Being a keen runner, I had heard about the potential reduction in inflammation that could be enjoyed in the muscles and joints after exercise when removing dairy from the diet.
Since removing animal products from my diet two years ago I have never looked back, going from running two-three times a week to six. And now suffer none of the aches and pains I used to after going out for a run.
